Currency pair

Currency pair

A currency pair defines the value of one currency in terms of another. In other words, it is the quote of the currency of one country against a different country. For instance, if the GBP/USD (Great Britain pound/US dollar) quotes at 1.5010, it means that 1GBP= $1.5010. On the other hand, if the value of the EUR/JPY (euro/Japanese yen) is at 125.50, it states that 1 EUR= ¥125.50
